Salon Terms and Conditions

Please be aware by making an appointment at Harper Beauty you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Harper Beauty is a busy salon and so to avoid disappointment we ask that you book your treatments in advance. This can be done by calling the salon directly or by using our online booking service provided by Phorest, the link is on our website.

Your Booking

You are required to provide a contact number and email address. We will send a confirmation email at time of booking followed by a reminder EMAIL 28 hours prior to the appointment time. If you cannot make your appointment for any reason, please inform us straight away via phone or email.

Making appointments and keeping them is a matter of personal responsibility. Our confirmation and reminder emails are simply in addition. Please put the appointment in your own personal diary at time of booking. If you need to amend or cancel please do that at the earliest opportunity.

Late Cancellations and No Shows

If you need to cancel your appointment please contact us a MINIMUM of 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) and ‘no shows’ will result in 100% of the treatment fee being charged and future bookings cannot be made until the treatment has been paid.

Late Arrivals

If you are running late for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible. We will always do our best to accommodate. Unfortunately, if it is not possible to complete the treatment in the time remaining, your appointment will be cancelled and full charges will be incurred.

We recommend that you plan ahead for your visit to Harper Beauty. There is free off-street parking in the Square, Church Road and Golf Road. Please be respectful to our neighbours and other local businesses by avoiding parking over driveways or in private car parking spaces owned by the dental practice and wine shop.

Noise and Mobile Phones

Our salon environment is one of tranquillity. Please respect all salon guests’ rights to privacy and serenity. Please maintain conversations at a considerate volume in all treatment areas. Mobile phones are not permitted in the treatment rooms and must be kept silent or turned off while in the salon.

Refund Policy

We cannot give refunds on any opened skincare products for health and hygiene reasons. If there is a fault with a product we will issue a refund and send it back to the manufacturer for review.

Loss or Damage of Personal Items

Please keep your personal belongings with you at all times and leave any valuables at home.

Children

In order to comply with our insurance policy and to maintain a quiet, tranquil environment children are not permitted in the salon.

Age Restrictions

We do not treat anyone under the age of 16.

Therapist/Staff Illness

Unfortunately, there may be times when we have to cancel your appointment due to therapist illness or other emergency. If we are unable to reschedule your appointment for another time or with an alternative therapist we will need to cancel your appointment and rebook you for the next available appointment. We will notify you as soon as possible if we need to cancel your appointment.

Pricing

While we do all we can to keep our website and price lists updated, treatments and prices are subject to change without warning. All prices are inclusive of VAT at 20%.

Patch Testing

Patch testing is required for certain treatments and must be completed before your appointment. We reserve the right to refuse any treatment that requires a patch test if it has not been completed 24/48hrs prior to your appointment. Failure to complete a patch test before your appointment will result in cancellation and our cancellation policy will
apply.

Payment

Payment is card only.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Vouchers are redeemable both in the gift shop and treatments. Gift vouchers or the balance of a gift voucher are non transferable and cannot be used against the purchase of another gift card. Gift vouchers are non-refundable. Lost vouchers may be trackable – please contact the salon and we will endeavour to retrieve your voucher code.
